How to do anything 😲 Let's spring into action together

Howdy, Reader —

I hope you had a lovely and leisurely long weekend!

While having that break was definitely necessary, I always find springtime is about getting productive again after winter. Despite the brief return of winter weather expected this week, in Montreal at least – the sun is back, mostly, and coaxing us out of old routines. We’re waking up from the weight of winter’s blanket and it feels great!

What new practices are you thinking of starting up (or restarting)? I’m thinking about starting my kitchari “rest and digest” for spring. I love this reset!

Whatever it is — whether you want to dive into spring cleaning, start running, do the Morpho Bleu April Challenge or begin breath work, it’s not easy to change our habit loops. It takes intention, planning, a bit of clever mental maneuvering, maybe a reward system, and good ol’ grit to re-commit to your intentions each and every new day, no matter what yesterday looked like.

We can use these lighter, warmer days to assist our shift! Usually spring brings with it a natural habit change: maybe you’re taking a walk outside, you need to get your spring clothing out of storage, or tune up your bike, get started in the garden again. All of these seasonal projects force us to adapt how we’re living, and this lets us insert our newly desired routines – and stack them, build on them – so that they’ll get sticky.

I am having a discussion about this very thing tomorrow night, and it’s free to join me on Zoom!

Come along for “Restarting routines + renewing rituals” where we’ll look at some simple practices for getting back into the swing of things, back in the saddle, and back to whatever it is you’re truly craving this season. Join me for a chat, some new ideas and inspiration, and a short practice to shake off the day!

My upcoming events offer lots of inspiration for you, too – a 21-day meditation practice, the new moon circle (new date), and a brand new offering in collaboration with Nadine Schwartz for the summer! We’re headed to Lac-Brome for an invigorating New Moon Ascension Retreat July 5 to 7, with lots of Quantum Flow and Kundalini, surrounded by the beauty of a 100-acre wooded estate.

Join me tomorrow and let’s talk about inspiring and creating new loops for a life we love.

Enjoy this new month!

Big love,
Sara

Hi there, Reader — It’s May, and spring is in full swing! While we think of this as springtime in our world, in ancient times, the Celtic celebration was Beltane – this was the start of summer, halfway between the equinox and the solstice, with the summer solstice being “midsummer.” Either way, the ground is alive again and the sun is finally out! This coming new moon in Taurus will help to ground us, bringing a visceral, physical and embodied energy to our lives. The earth is singing, the...

Holy moly, Reader — Here we are! Today is a day you can mark off on your calendar. 📆 Day before the eclipse? Yes, and — Today, you’ll make a decision that moves you one step closer to calm, focus and peace. I want to help make that decision super simple for you. As I see it, you've got three options… 🟢 Option 1:“Ready” is your middle name. You know in your heart, soul and brain that you want a meditation practice — even if you already have one, you’re craving more. More meaning, more...

Hiya, Reader — Some of you mentioned to me that you tried to join The Imprint and you got an error when clicking the link. Can we blame Mercury Retrograde? Please, try again with this link instead. These times of year when, from our perspective here on earth, the planet Mercury appears to be moving in reverse from its usual trajectory can cause some of us a lot of stress. It’s actually a very good time to pause, slow down, be intentional. It’s in fact a lovely synchronicity that I’ve selected...
